There are thousands of smaller luxury brands trying their best to change that, and with the power of social media, they might.
Here’s a list of amazing luxury brands that are trying to reinvent the wheel by creating new styles outside of what big brands are doing.
Being raised in Hong Kong and then living in London opened the eyes of Ryan Lo to a unique style that has been showcased in his collections.
A romantic fantasy theme is what we’re accustomed to when seeing Ryan Lo, who doesn’t shy away from maximalism and modern approaches.
Even though his label hasn’t been around for decades, he’s been growing in popularity for creating pieces for everyday wear which are daring and sophisticated.
He doesn’t make luxury women shoes at the moment but it would be an item most women would die for.
Here are a few outfits we loved from his Instagram page:
With people getting more into vintage clothing for their interesting cuts and designs, a few designers have gone out of their way to create collections that satisfy these needs while still providing high-quality garments.
What most didn’t think would happen was that someone like Morgane Sezalory would take time out of their day to dig through hundreds of vintage clothing pieces and sell them on eBay.
As she gained popularity, she started adding her own details to the garments she found as a way to make it her own.
Fast-forward to 2013 and she’s now the co-founder of Sézane, a vintage-inspired brand made for women looking for high-quality clothing at the right price.
She’s showing that maybe you don’t have to spend 500 dollars on a dress but instead find a similar dress with the same high-quality fabrics and cut for a smaller price.
Here are a few pieces we loved from Sézane:

You might have seen this Italian luxury brand on Instagram or Pinterest before with it’s fun and sophisticated pieces.
Barbara Borghini is the founder of Gia Couture, a brand looking to change the way people look at shoes and accessories.
The brand has become a staple for celebrities like Chiara Ferragni who want a different look without having to sacrifice quality or comfort.
All of the products are made in Tuscany, making them even more desirable for women looking for shoes handcrafted in Italy.
Here are some of the pieces we liked from their 2019 collection.
Andrea Gomez is a luxury brand looking to create shoes women want to wear on a daily basis while being unique enough to stand out.
The whole range of women luxury shoes is made in Italy while taking inspiration from specific parts of the world, making the final piece more unique and interesting.
Even though Andrea Gomez is still a small fashion brand, being founded in 2016, they have big humanitarian projects going on like the “Stepping Up Project” which gives a pair of shoes to kids in need of them in Venezuela for every pair of shoes or heels you buy.

Here are some pieces from the latest collection:
Founded by 2 Danish stylists and influencers, Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars, Rotate is the epitome of what ‘going out’ fashion should be.
Their style revolves around creating pieces that make you stand out from the crowd in a good way.
This means you’ll be seeing cuts and designs you might have never even thought about using.
Puffy sleeves, bejeweled blazers, and high maxi dresses? Yes, yes, and yes!
If you’re looking for a luxury fashion brand that is trying to bring back 70’s glam fashion, then you’ll love Rotate.
Here are some of our favorite pieces from their Instagram
We’re in a time where small brands are making a mark in the fashion industry and showing that they don’t need decades of history to create amazing pieces and change the way we look at fashion.
Be daring and give these new luxury brands a try! It’ll be worth it.
