This Privacy Policy explains how AG Accessories, LLC (“Andrea Gomez”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or buy from andrea-gomez.com (the “Site”).

Personal information we collect

Device Information. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect some information about your device. This includes your web browser, IP address, time zone and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we also collect which pages or products you view, which websites or search terms brought you to the Site, and how you use the Site. We call this “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using these technologies:

  • “Cookies” are small data files placed on your device. They often include an anonymous unique identifier. To learn more about cookies, and how to turn them off, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • “Log files” track actions on the Site and collect data such as your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
  • “Web beacons”, “tags” and “pixels” are small electronic files that record how you browse the Site. For example, we use the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel, Klaviyo and Judge.me.

Order Information. When you buy, or try to buy, through the Site, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and payment information. Payments are processed by our payment providers, such as Shopify Payments, Shop Pay and PayPal. We call this “Order Information”.

Information you send us. When you email us, use our contact form, sign up for our newsletter, write a review, or send a return or exchange form (including any photos), we collect the information you give us. This can include your name, email address, order number, shoe size and fit notes, and your message.

When this policy says “Personal Information”, it means Device Information, Order Information and information you send us.

How we use your personal information

We use Order Information to fulfill your orders. That includes processing your payment, arranging shipping, handling returns, exchanges, store credit and refunds, and sending invoices and order confirmations. We also use it to:

  • Communicate with you, including answering your questions;
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When it matches the preferences you’ve shared with us (for example, if you signed up for our newsletter), send you information or advertising about our products. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in each email.

We use Device Information to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address). We also use it to improve the Site, for example by understanding how customers browse and use it, and to measure how well our marketing and advertising work. We also use it to show you ads for Andrea Gomez on other websites and social media (sometimes called “retargeting”).

Sharing your personal information

We share your Personal Information with service providers who help us run our business, as described above. For example:

  • Shopify powers our online store and checkout. You can read how Shopify uses personal information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Global-e handles our international orders (for example, to Canada and Colombia) as the seller of record, including payment, duties and taxes. You can read Global-e’s privacy policy here: https://www.global-e.com/consumer-privacy-policy/.
  • Our warehouse partner and shipping carriers (such as UPS, USPS, FedEx and DHL) receive the details they need to deliver your order and process returns.
  • Klaviyo helps us send emails. Judge.me helps us collect product reviews.
  • Meta helps us measure and show our ads.

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Targeted advertising

Do Not Track

We do not change our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser. Where state privacy law requires it, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have about you, and get a copy of it;
  • Ask us to correct it;
  • Ask us to delete it;
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, and of any “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information as those terms are defined by your state’s law. Our use of advertising pixels such as Meta’s may count as “sharing” under some state laws.

We honor these requests from all of our customers, wherever they live. To make a request, email contact@andrea-gomez.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. You can also use our Your privacy choices page to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. You can also ask someone you authorize to make a request for you. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights. If we say no to your request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our answer.

If you live in Europe or the United Kingdom, you also have these rights. We process your information to fulfill our contract with you (for example, when you place an order), or for our legitimate business interests described above.

Our business is based in the United States. If you visit or shop from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, and in other countries where our service providers operate.

Data retention

When you place an order through the Site, we keep your Order Information for as long as we need it for your order, returns, store credit, accounting, tax and other legal reasons. If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete what we are not required to keep.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the “Last updated” date.
